Sometimes it is described as the "universal language" since it has the capability of commination. India's music is one of the oldest unbroken traditions of the world. Many facts have been related with the origin and development of classic music. This origin goes back to Vedas. The Basics of Indian music is "Sangeet" Which is a combination of three art forms: - Vocal music, instrumental music, and dance. The modern system of Indian music is based on the "Rag" and "Tal". Many musical instruments are peculiar in India. The most famous are Sitar and Tabla.
All of this make up the exciting and complex field of Indian classic music.. With the beginning of the late 19th century that music began to attract the attention of the public in large societies.
